Clinton visits newly-unionized workers in Queens
Trump’s Republican rivals, Ted Cruz, a US senator from Texas, and Ohio Governor John Kasich, have no strong ties to NY, though they have gamely showed up at campaign events to relish local delicacies.

Now, a new NBC/Wall Street Journal poll shows that Bernie Sanders has caught up to Hillary Clinton in popular support among Democrats.
In the Democratic race, Clinton’s campaign was declaring the contest virtually over Monday and warning Sanders that he risks damaging the party’s eventual nominee if he keeps up harsh criticism of the former secretary of state.
Hillary Clinton discusses Beyonce, Donald Trump, and her goals if she were president, during interview with The Breakfast Club.
“I think he’s the most in tune with what the people actually want, not just what his constituents want”, said voter Woody Poulard.
“You all look lovely, and you all look like you want a political revolution”, Sanders said to cheers from the crowd at Hunter’s Point South Park along Long Island City’s waterfront.
Brownsville has been listed as one of the poorest neighborhoods in New York City, with a high crime rate, too. Cruz is not well-known in NY, and polls suggest that his quip about “New York values” did little to ingratiate him even to New York’s Republicans. The deadline to switch to one of the two majors for the objective of voting in the primary passed without fanfare back in October.
Meanwhile, Trump said he agrees with his father’s complaints on the delegate systems used in Colorado and Wyoming that resulted in Ted Cruz receiving additional delegates.
The number of delegates needed to win the Republican nomination is 1,237.
Donald Trump might have suffered some losses in the past few weeks.
“We’re not taking anything for granted”, Clinton said Monday after greeting workers at the Hi-Tek Car Wash & Lube in Queens. If no one gets 50 percent of the vote, then the 14 delegates will be divided between the other two candidates if their vote tops at least 20 percent of the total vote.
As for the Democrats, Clintons lead was hovering around ten points heading into the weekend, and it is unlikely that debate Thursday night moved any voters.
The Trump campaign has parlayed its strength in marketing to a significant lead in pledged delegates.

By the end of Monday – the last official day of campaigning before voting in the state’s Democratic and Republican primary elections begins – thousands of New Yorkers will have heard the candidates’ closing pitches. It takes 2,383 to win the Democratic nomination.
