Clinton vs. Trump: Their words about each other
The former U.S. secretary of state and first lady said the slogan “stronger together” that has been featured in her campaign was a guiding principle for the country, helping to define a future with a healthy economy “for everyone, not just those at the top”.

“Christopher’s paternal grandparents met and fell in love in a Japanese internment camp, so it was in his DNA that love always trumps hate”, said Christine Leinonen of her son, who died in the massacre at Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, Florida.
According Spredfast’s analysis of Twitter data, sentiment during Clinton’s speech was far more positive than during Republican nominee Donald Trump’s acceptance of the Republican Party’s nomination a week earlier.
He said Trump’s gloomy vision was “selling the American people short”.
In the minutes after she accepted her party’s nomination, the Trump campaign sent a text message to his supporters saying the general election is officially underway.
President Barack Obama and Democratic Presidential nominee Hillary Clinton wave to delegates after President Obama’s speech during the third day of the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia, Wednesday, July 27, 2016.
“Don’t boo, vote”, he told the convention hall.
He said voters faced a choice between hope and fear, attacking “home-grown demagogue” Republican Donald Trump. Clinton assailed Trump’s record as a businessman, questioned whether he has the temperament to be commander in chief, and accused him of offering “empty promises”.
“He calls himself a business guy – which is true”. For those who vote for me and those who don’t.
After Obama’s speech, Clinton joined him on stage where they hugged, clasped hands and waved to the crowd.
“Donald Trump says he wants to make America great again – well, he could start by actually making things in America again”.
At the convention on Wednesday, US Senator Tim Kaine, Clinton’s running mate, described billionaire Trump as “a one-man wrecking crew” who can not be trusted in the Oval Office. She said they watched movies to “replenish her spirits”, and then “she got right back to work”.
A major goal of the Democratic National Convention is to humanize Hillary Clinton, to make voters like her. The final speaker to do that on Clinton’s behalf was her daughter, Chelsea, who spoke ahead of her mom on Thursday night. Her radical amnesty plan will take jobs, resources and benefits from the most vulnerable citizens of the United States and give them to the citizens of other countries.
“I will be a president for Democrats, Republicans and independents”.
