Clinton: Water crisis in Flint is immoral

An aide to the former president told MSNBC that Bill Clinton’s sharper tone was in response to Sanders escalating his own attacks on Clinton’s integrity and Wall Street ties, to which he took offense.

“This is not merely unacceptable or wrong, though it is both”.

At a rally in a school Mr Clinton said his wife’s supporters had suffered “unbelievable personal attacks” on the internet from those of Mr Sanders.

“You know, I’ve heard that”, Clinton told the young woman.

Clinton has pointed to the crisis of lead-poisoned water in Flint as an example of racial and economic injustice – that’s an issue resonating among Democrats, particularly African-American voters.

The miracle rise of Bernie Sanders continues, with polls showing he is now even with Hillary Clinton nationally and maintains his 20-point lead in New Hampshire. A woman’s willingness to help the sisterhood hardly means she can vote only for female candidates. “The idea is that we need a more forward-looking message, for the primary – but also for the general election too…” That victory helped her become the new “Comeback Kid” – the same moniker her husband Bill Clinton proclaimed after his second-place finish in the state in 1992 jumpstarted his road to the nomination.

As reported by Politico, Bill Clinton’s staffers have long maintained that he won’t be too involved with his wife’s campaign and will instead invest himself in work for the Clinton Foundation. The Democratic hopeful said that Albright has used the line since at least 2008, when she supported her first run for president against Barack Obama.

The Republicans are stepping on the gas in New Hampshire with that primary Tuesday.

And Clinton slammed Sanders and his backers for derisively labeling opponents as part of the “establishment” when they disagree.

For many people at the church, having Clinton’s commitment to them, brings them hope.

At almost every campaign stop in New Hampshire, Clinton or a supporter emphasized the role she could play as the first woman in the White House while Sanders galvanized young people with his promise to fix an economy he said was rigged in favor of the wealthy.

Sanders has worked to boost his profile among black voters who make up more than half of the SC electorate. Jeanne Shaheen said on Friday, standing alongside equal-pay activist Lilly Ledbetter, Emily’s List President Stephanie Shriock, New Hampshire Gov. Maggie Hassan and U.S. Sens. “But if you look at Sanders he has been solid as concrete with regards to his passion for racial, social and economic justice”.
