Clinton Won’t Reject Idea Bombings Were Russian Plot for Trump

The arrest of an immigrant from Afghanistan in this weekend’s bombings in NY and New Jersey cleaved new rifts in the presidential campaign Monday, with Republican nominee Donald Trump insisting he foresaw the attacks, which he said bolster his call to suspend immigration from world trouble spots.

“To the African-American community, I say, ‘Vote for Donald Trump”.

Ms Clinton accused Mr Trump of feeding the division that drives extremists and claimed he was a “recruiting agent” for terrorists. That is US government property.

An Afghan immigrant wanted for questioning in the bombings was captured in New Jersey Monday after being wounded in a gun battle with police, authorities said.

The New York magnate had no trouble mixing basically unrelated concepts like terrorism, Barack Obama’s freeing “undocumented criminals”, most of whom had committed minor traffic infractions, and the acceptance of refugees, most of whom are victims and not supporters of the Islamic State.

In the most serious incident, a bomb went off in New York City’s Chelsea neighborhood on Saturday, injuring 29 people; another explosive device was found nearby.

In a news conference on the tarmac of Westchester County Airport on Monday, the Democratic presidential nominee said she has been “part of the hard decision to take terrorists off the battlefield”, and contrasted her steadiness to what she called Trump’s “irresponsible, reckless rhetoric”, CNN reported.

Meanwhile the Islamic State terrorist group, also known by the acronym ISIS, claimed responsibility for a stabbing attack at a Minnesota shopping mall Saturday that injured almost a dozen people. Trump’s up 18 in the rest of the state.

“That’s why I’ve been very clear: We’re going after the bad guys, not an entire religion”, she said.

“[Terrorism] is huge news and is going to consume the rest of this campaign”, said Jeanne Zaino, PhD, political science professor at Iona College in New Rochelle.

New York’s governor and mayor said on Monday that the bombings in a Manhattan neighbourhood and a New Jersey shore town are looking increasingly like acts of terrorism with a foreign connection.

Both hosts chastised Trump for implying that it was up to him to “finish” the birther movement by declaring that our Commander-in-Chief was born in the USA during a press conference at one of his hotels, half a decade after Obama released his full birth certificate.

ISIS is another acronym for the Islamic State group.

Despite Donald Trump’s pattern of gaining ground in most polls conducted since Hillary Clinton’s physican collapse nine days ago, one new survey shows her holding a steady 5-point national lead.

Asked if he was saying there would be more attacks, he replied, “Yeah, because we’ve been weak”.

Terrorism and immigration are likely to come up when each of the candidates meets Monday night with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi at the United Nations. “I don’t think so”, he said.
