The Sanders campaign accused former party chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz of having her thumb on the scale for Clinton, a view bolstered by the recent leak of DNC emails that showed staffers discussing ways to hurt Sanders’ candidacy.

Hillary Clinton earned a powerful progressive endorsement Tuesday, landing the support of the Working Families Party, which enthusiastically endorsed Clinton’s rival Bernie Sanders during the Democratic primary.

And what do you know? “But as we go forward into the general election, I’m very happy to be working with members of the Clinton team in trying to get the Secretary elected”.

“I guess our campaign just said “why bother”, said the wife of the Vermont independent senator who challenged Clinton for the Democratic nomination.

And the story doesn’t stop with all that campaign money from the little people.

Sanders insisted, for example, “on complete transparency regarding the funding of campaigns”. “You don’t do that by running another progressive candidate when there’s so much on the line”.

“We’re all about building progressive infrastructure”, Cantor said.

Sanders had called for Wasserman Schultz’s resignation even before the email episode, which prompted her to resign.

Zephyr Teachout reportedly won her primary, in part, thanks to financial and grassroots support from Our Revolution and Bernie Sanders’ supporters.

During the Democratic party convention in Philadelphia, some of Sanders’ delegates continued to express dissatisfaction with Clinton as the party’s nominee, but Sanders has urged his supporters to vote for her in an effort to defeat Republican nominee Donald Trump.

The socialist candidate filed his Senate disclosure document on June 6, which somewhat undercuts his campaign’s argument – made around the same time – that Sanders was too busy campaigning to complete and submit a presidential disclosure covering his finances during early 2016.

Sanders will officially launch Our Revolution on August 24 while speaking to his supporters from Ripley Manor in Washington, D.C. The launch will be viewed live at more than 2,000 organized meetings across the nation, according to The Hill.

He contends Sanders’ email was an in-kind campaign contribution to Pearson’s campaign that exceeded legal limits. “At this meeting, I and others will lay out some of the next steps we can take as a movement to empower a wave of progressive candidates this November and win the major upcoming fights for the values we share”.
