Clippers Close to Trading C.J. Wilcox for Devyn Marble
The Orlando Magic are now in need of a shooting guard since they lost Victor Oladipo when they acquired Serge Ibaka from the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Wilcox and cash from the Los Angeles Clippers in exchange for Devyn Marble and a future second-round draft pick.
Over 44 games in his first two seasons, Wilcox has averaged only 2.5 points on 39.4 percent shooting.
Marble, 56 pick in the 2014 National Basketball Association draft, is entering the final season of his three-year contract.
Wilcox is older than Marble, and no more proven, but his college and National Basketball Association D-League performances at least suggest he might develop into a competent outside shooter: at Washington, he stroked 38.9 percent of his triples, a figure he raised to 42.1 percent in 26 D-League games. For some reason, he has not been able to earn time in the National Basketball Association, but has shown range with a.381 three-point percentage in his National Basketball Association career. Wilcox made his National Basketball Association debut on December 3, 2014 vs. Orlando.
Wilcox finished his collegiate career as Washington’s all-time leading three-point shooter with 301 made. He averaged 2.1 points last season with the Magic.
Though he’s yet to see much action in the NBA, Marble’s been impressive with 10.6 points, 2.4 assists, and 2.2 steals per game during the Orlando Summer League and his length could help the Clippers defensively behind Jamal Crawford, Austin Rivers, and J.J. Redick.
