Close-up of deadly tornado captured on video

At least seven tornadoes touched down across the state, according to ABC News, with this particular sucker hitting ground near Wray, Colorado, on Saturday.

“The severe weather zone is that first week or two of June”, meteorologist Kyle Fredin of the National Weather Service in Boulder, said Monday.

The phenomenon that tore through the American town of Colorado has left five people hurt and dozens of homes damaged. In Morgan County a multi-vortex tornado was reported over Interstate 76 near Wiggins. It said Sunday night that the tornadoes added up to an EF-2 rating, reaching peak wind speeds of 115-120 miles per hour.

Interestingly, around 15 tornadoes were reported as per the Storm Prediction Center and more storms have been forecasted for the next day or two. USA 385 northbound was closed heading out of Wray due to power lines down and debris. Prom was delayed about an hour and the picture has gone viral. The Denver Metro area was not affected by these storms.
