Cloudy and cooler Wednesday night

Daytime high temperatures topping out in the mid-to-high 60s and lows in the 40s are forecast to hit the region later this week, according to the National Weather Service. Skies should be either partly cloudy or mostly sunny through the period, and it’ll probably be a little breezy Wednesday and Thursday. Friday the skies are expected to clear and temperatures to reach the lower 80s. There will be a good chance for showers in the afternoon.

Today: Mostly Cloudy with Scattered Afternoon Showers. TUESDAY: We’re mostly sunny, with a seasonable high around 70.

Tomorrow: Cool with showers possible.

Friday: Cloudy with a 70 percent chance of showers. Temperatures have been much above normal, in the upper 70s to low 80s along with that brisk breeze. Elsewhere, look for partly cloudy skies with highs near 80.

Thursday night: Showers likely. It will be humid with more showers possible. Highs generally in the low 60s (16° Celsius), and overnight lows in the low 40s (6° Celsius).

Thursday: Cloudy with a 60 percent chance of showers. South wind 5 to 11 miles per hour becoming north in the morning.

Wednesday will have an 80 percent chance of precipitation and a high of 66 degrees with anywhere between three quarters and one inch of rain. Humid with lows in the upper 60s. Areas along and east of this line will have a 20% chance of afternoon showers.

Saturday: Showers likely, mainly after 7 a.m. Cloudy with a high near 57.

Friday: Intervals of clouds and sunshine with a chance of a shower late in the day.
