CM Punk’s Next Fight Shouldn’t Be In UFC Says Dana White
UFC 203 is over, and CM Punk got the crap beaten choked out of him in his debut. “You know in life you go big or you go home”, he said.

“I’ll tell you what, fair play to [CM Punk]”, McGregor told TMZ.
“I’m friends with CM Punk, it’s been his dream to fight in the UFC forever, he wanted to do it so I gave him the opportunity”. “This was a hell of a mountain to try and climb”. “This might sound like a gimmicky fight, but I’m no gimmick”. The 37-year-old Chicagoan entered the cage vs. 24-year-old Mickey Gall. The fight was a back-and-forth battle as Miocic recovered from an early guillotine choke and took control of the fight to end it with a flurry of heavy punches which were enough to earn him his first title defence. Gall (3-0 MMA, 2-0 UFC) lined up as his opponent, and two years after Punk’s signing was announced the welterweight contest finally went down on Saturday’s UFC 203 pay-per-view main card at Cleveland’s Quicken Loans Arena.
Plenty of UFC fans were very skeptical leading up to the fight and were ultimately proved right, but Gall was quick to support what Punk had attempted.
“I don’t know what happens from here”, he was quoted as saying on Daily Mail.
Ultimate Fighting Championship President Dana White doesn’t think CM Punk’s next mixed martial art battle should be in the big leagues.
Punk had no previous MMA experience, prior to fighting in the UFC.
“I know there’s a lot of doubters, but, listen, life’s about falling down and getting up”.
“Tomorrow we’re going to be making history”, said Overeem.

White also confirmed that Sage Northcutt’s camp had reached out to White following Mickey Gall’s win and that Sage is also keen for the fight with Gall. So just how embarrassed was Punk after a little over two minutes of Gall having his way with him?CM Punk might not have been ready for a fight of this magnitude, but he’s not at all embarrassed. “Doesn’t matter how many time you get knocked down, get back up”. I was really focused on my standup.
