Like many Americans, Warren Buffett can write a maximum $2,700 check to support his favorite presidential candidate. Rubio says we should collect all Americans records all of the time.

Tuesday night’s GOP presidential debate was the third most viewed debate in this cycle, according to Nielsen ratings reported by CNN.

The split-screen showed Trump’s face contort into visible objections, which quickly went viral online, as Bush launched a barrage of critiques, calling him “a chaos candidate” who can’t insult his way into the presidency.

For the most part, the frontrunner maintained an unusually low-profile – at least compared to earlier debates, where he seemed to be the main focus.

Christie repeated that he was the only candidate to prosecute terrorists – which he did as USA attorney for the District of New Jersey before being elected governor in 2009. No matter how much we try to avoid civilian casualties – even avoiding attacking legitimate targets because the non-combatant death toll would be too high – there will always be the possibility that innocent people will die.

Graham has been railing against rival Donald Trump for his sharp rhetoric on barring Muslims from entering the country. But still Christie was anxious about the “children filled with anxiety”, and the “mothers who will take those children tomorrow morning to the bus stop”, and the “the fathers of Los Angeles, who tomorrow will head off to work and wonder about the safety of their wives and their children”. “They just want to ensure and advocate for the issues they care about”, said Liebermann.

Ben Carson – Carson had soared to number two in the polls and then suddenly his campaign went quiet. He said “I don’t intend” to do that, which doesn’t mean he won’t.

“I think a lot of what viewers saw last night is why they’re exhausted of politics”, Fiorina said on CNN. VIDEO: Cruz and Rubio clash in fifth Republican debateRubio, of Florida, defended his support for eventually providing a pathway to citizenship for some people in the USA illegally, an unpopular position within the Republican Party. Ted Cruz said they believe the problem with ISIS starts with political correctness. As now scheduled, the GOP will have debates on January 14 and January 28, with the Iowa caucuses to be held Feb 1.

Increased fears of terrorism also play into the hands of arch-xenophobe Donald Trump, who has called for Muslims to be tracked, mosque to be closed and the murder and torture of terror suspects’ families.

“Listen, I want to talk to the audience at home for a second”, he said as he eyed the camera directly. He says, “Neither is fit to be president of the United States”. Marco Rubio of Florida, who sparred with Cruz repeatedly over national security.

The GOP presidential candidates are using their time ahead of the debate in Las Vegas to meet with would-be donors. This is insane because we are at war.

But Christie also received good reviews in past debates (including his undercard debate a month ago in Milwaukee) without getting the needle to move on his polling support.

Two of the top draws? “I am totally committed to the Republican Party”, Trump said. The American people, we on this stage, need to open our ears.

Christie also said numerous candidates on the stage with him participated in adopting some of the failed policies of this nation, but they were acting as if they had nothing to do with it.
