While she’s neck-and-neck with Sanders in Iowa and Sanders is now way ahead in New Hampshire, the most recent poll out of SC has Clinton sitting a comfortable 36 points ahead.
Seventy percent of New Hampshire’s undeclared voters – those not registered in either major political party – said they plan to vote for Sanders while 25 percent of them said the same about Clinton.
Three weeks before the New Hampshire presidential primary, senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont has broken into a lead in the Granite State that some politicos are calling, well, Clinton-esque.
While the Clinton campaign has often stressed electability as a core reason Democratic voters should nominate her, many polls have Bernie Sanders outperforming Clinton in head-to-head matchups with likely Republican nominees, especially GOP frontrunner Donald Trump.
“People just haven’t heard almost as many negative arguments against Sanders as they have against Clinton”, Nyhan said, noting how some Republicans have actually tried to boost the Sanders campaign.
Patrick Semansky/AP The poll showed that Hillary Clinton remained the leader in the race for the Democratic nomination, with 52% support nationally among Democratic and Democratic-leaning voters.
While Clinton is also viewed positively, her numbers lag well behind Sanders’ ratings, with 65% saying they have a favorable impression of the former secretary of state. The two candidates are neck-and-neck in the critical state of Iowa, but Clinton hold double-digit leads nationally.
In the last month, Clinton has deployed a legion of celebrities and family members to take her message to Granite State voters, according to ABC News.
“I am leaving here even more of a supportive than I was before”, said Reeder. Not only can she not let Mr Sanders whisk away the Left-progressive votebank, she will also have to keep a grip on the sizeable Black and Latino voters. The December poll found him trailing Clinton, 47% to 40%, among that group.

Clinton made her pitch in Toledo, Iowa, imploring voters to pay careful attention to what is possible – and what is not – as they decide whether to support her or Sanders’ bid.
