Islamabad – The Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif has said that the enemies of Pakistan and China are common and both countries will jointly defeat them.

“Our relation is all weather friendship, sweeter than honey, higher than Himalaya and deeper than ocean”.
He also talked about China Pakistan Economic Corridor and said that it would benefit entire region and he hoped that entire world looks at CPEC through same lens.
Sharif said that recent strides and holistic concept of CPEC speaks volumes, adding that, “Will see both nations progressing, further maximising dividend of our geo-strategic locations”.
“I reiterate our firm resolve that your enemy is our enemy and we will together to overcome the challenges presented”, remarked General Sharif.
Feldman appreciated Pakistan’s positive role, especially of General Raheel Sharif for bringing all the parties to peace talks between the Afghanistan government and the Afghan Taliban, Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Asim Bajwa said on Twitter.
“The COAS has also announced the army would donate one day ration for the affectees”, the statement maintained. General Raheel said: ” It goes without saying, how deep and resolute are the relations between Pakistan and China. According to the Chinese government, it is a violent separatist movement and is often responsible for terrorist attacks in Xinjiang.
He congratulated Chinese people and their army for sacrifices in pursuing dreams and said that People Liberation Army (PLA) was one of the best armies.

The Chinese have been seriously following the security situation in the province.
