Coast Guard Rescues 17-Year-Old Drifting Off Florida Coast

Three people, including a 9-year-old, who went missing while boating off the coast of Florida over the weekend were found dead Monday, along with one survivor.

Coast Guard crews and local authorities are searching between Folly Island and the lighthouse. The initial report stated the two departed Folly Beach at approximately 1 p.m., and planned to kayak to Morris Island Lighthouse.

– It started out as a picturesque Sunday afternoon on the water.
