Cocaine Reportedly Found On Scott Weiland’s Tour Bus, Bandmate Arrested
“We experienced a good chunk of life with Scott, and even in his darkest times, we all had hope and love for him. The memories are many, and they run deep for us”, the statement read.

Weiland, who was known for his roles as frontman for the Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver, had struggled with addiction throughout much of his career.
In an interview back in April with the Register, just before Stone Temple Pilots headlined a sold-out show at House of Blues Anaheim, guitarist Dean DeLeo spoke about continuing on without Weiland.
He is survived by his wife, Jamie Weiland, a photographer, who confirmed his death to The Los Angeles Times yesterday, saying: “I can’t deal with this right now”. “We will miss you brother, Robert, Eric, Dean”. In a new development in the case, Weiland’s bassist, Tommy Black, has been arrested and booked for possession of a controlled substance.
The couple met in 2011 on the set of his music video for I’ll Be Home For Christmas and they married in 2013.
The band’s 1992 debut album, “Core”, was an instant success, and the hit single “Plush” won the Grammy for best hard rock performance.
Since news of Weiland’s death, sources have come forward stating that his friends were anxious that he had fallen off the wagon again.
Weiland’s body was discovered after 8PM yesterday and, according to his Facebook page, died in his sleep. Weiland also performed vocals on the 2015 self-titled album from Art of Anarchy..
Tragedy had already struck The Wildabouts earlier this year when they lost another bandmate, guitarist Jeremy Brown in March at the age of 34. At least in that, may I now say he is undoubtably in the arms of grace and eternal love.
Prior to his relationship with Wachtel, Weiland had a very public battle with drugs and alcohol.
On Thursday, Scott Weiland was found dead on his tour bus after going into cardiac arrest.
