Cody Walker to star with Nicolas Cage in ‘USS Indianapolis’
After replacing Paul in certain Furious 7 scenes after the actor was killed in a November 2013 auto crash, Cody will now be starring in the upcoming World War II film, USS Indianapolis: Men of Courage, alongside Nicolas Cage.

Cody Walker made an appearance in Furious 7, where he stepped in for his brother Paul, who ended up passing away before he could finish filming.
Mario Van Peebles is directing the feature which tells the true story of Captain Charles McVay, who was commander of a boat that was hit by a torpedo during a secret mission in 1945.
The 27-year-old helped Universal Pictures out in the recent Furious instalment, after the death of Paul in December 2013. The film will be produced by Rionda Del Castro and Michael Mendelsohn. For a variety of reasons, the ship was not reported missing for four days, leaving its crew to struggle to survive in the open water, fighting the elements as well as man-eating sharks.
And by all accounts, Cody is as excited as ever to join the period piece, and has been posting a slew of photos from the set of the action-packed film.
Newspix/REX Shutterstock Cody Walker, pictured at the grand opening of a mural in honor of his brother Paul Walker in Australia in April, has landed his first major acting role.
The cast also includes Tom Sizemore and Thomas Jane. And, yes, he looks a lot like Paul now that he’s 27.
