Coldplay to play at 2016 Superbowl
This year beginning January 11, Pepsi is providing fans with behind-the-scenes access to see how this iconic show comes to life in a digital mini-series called “Pepsi Presents: The Super Bowl Halftime Show Show”. Coldplay’s hits include “Speed of Sound”, “Viva La Vida”, “Yellow”, “Trouble”, “Fix You” and “Paradise”. Here are five songs we hope they perform at Super Bowl 50.

Also taking the Super Bowl stage again will be Bruno Mars, who performed with Red Hot Chili Peppers at halftime of last season’s Super Bowl. (“Nothin’ On You”) and Geneva native Travie McCoy (“Billionaire”).
The NFL officially made the announcement during halftime of Thursday night’s game between the Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions on CBS and NFL Network. They just cover their “production and travel costs”, which might be the reason that “In 2014, before selecting Katy Perry to headline the 2015 show, the NFL asked several candidates to pay the league to play, but that request got a chilly reception”. According to Bleacher Report, the two artists who also collaborated with Coldplay in its new album “A Head Full of Dreams” for the single “A Hymn For The Weekend” may also perform at the Super Bowl 50 in Santa Clara, California. The band’s new record, released Friday, features Avicii, Tove Lo, Noel Gallagher and even Martin’s ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow.
