Colin Kaepernick Donating 100% Of Jersey Sale Profits …Top Selling NFL Jersey
“I want to thank everyone who has shown me love and support, it truly means a lot!” the 49ers quarterback, who will back up Blaine Gabbert, wrote on Instagram. I myself am a Veteran of the U.S. Navy and I had to take a step back and ask myself, ‘why are people speaking on behalf of me and other veterans?’ My second thought was people are getting so wrapped up in the act that they are missing the actual message.

Kaepernick sparked national debate late last month by sitting during “The Star-Spangled Banner”.
And Kaepernick also put his money where his mouth is, promising to donate $1 million-he is scheduled to make $11.9 million this year-to groups affected by issues such as racial injustice and police brutality.
Since Kaepernick first chose to remain seated during the national anthem before a preseason game on August 26, a heated debate has grown around whether his protest is patriotic or disrespectful. “There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder”.

The question is whether Kaepernick’s actions warrant such criticism, or whether they should simply serve as a conversation-starter. It can’t be, as some have said, that Kaepernick’s salary with the National Football League makes his complaint less legitimate, since Trump makes a crap-ton more than Kaepernick will ever dream to. So, I don’t necessarily agree with what he is doing.
It’s a safe bet that Kaepernick will see more of that sentiment during the 49ers home opener against the Los Angeles Rams on Sep. 12.

Many have called Kaepernick hypocritical for condemning the very nation which glorifies the sport that makes him a multi-millionaire.
