Colin Kaepernick Receives Full Medical Clearance
Kaepernick received medical clearance on Tuesday from his Colorado doctor to fully take part in practice for the first time this season, the Sacramento Bee reported. With the current development on Kaepernick’s health, Kelly will be having a long training camp before deciding who will be his No. 1 QB.

He’ll have his team physical Saturday when players report to training camp, with the first practice Sunday.
Colin Kaepernick has been cleared to return to practice.
Entering his sixth season, Kaepernick is vying to reclaim the coveted job that Blaine Gabbert assumed at midseason previous year.
A league source told the newspaper that the quarterback met in Vail, Colo., with Dr. Peter Millett, who performed Kaepernick’s left shoulder surgery in November.
During minicamp in June, Blaine Gabbert worked with the first offense and a limited Kaepernick worked with the second. Gabbert took nearly all the reps with the 49ers’ first-team offense during offseason workouts and minicamp, while rookie sixth-round draft pick Jeff Driskel and free-agent addition Thaddeus Lewis worked with the backups. With the injury confronting Kaepernick, Gabbert has advanced miles ahead as he learned the new system imposed by the 49ers new coach Chip Kelly.
Let the quarterback competition begin in San Francisco 49ers camp. In an interview last June, the quarterback said,”They haven’t said anything about pecking order or anything like that”.

“All I’ve heard is Chip (Kelly) has told me it’s going to be a competition”, Kaepernick said last month. It was a great feeling to be out there this week.
