Collins cleared to leave hospital, return to New York
New York Mets manager Terry Collins has gone to the hospital less than 30 minutes after the game has started between the New York Mets and the Milwaukee Brewers. Assistant general manager John Ricco said the 67 year-old Collins, who was accompanied by trainer Ray Ramirez, was staying overnight in Milwaukee as a precaution.

The New York Mets got some good news on Monday when it was learned that the team’s manager Terry Collins has been cleared to return to the dugout on Tuesday night.
According to ESPN, Mets manager, Terry Collins has not felt well before the game has started between the Mets and Brewers this Sunday. Ryan Braun hit two home runs in the game, Chris Carter slugged his 17th of the season, Scooter Gennett added one and even Peralta got the first of his career. Steven Matz allowed five runs, four earned, in six frames as he slipped to 7-and-3. Earlier, in the third frame, Aaron Hill was ruled out at home for sliding over – and not actually touching – the plate, costing the Brewers a run. It is Broxton’s first career run batted in. “That’s really all I have right now”.
“Dickie Scott called us in and just said, ‘Hey, he’s going to get taken to the hospital”. He had complained of feeling ill, though the precise nature of his symptoms were undisclosed. OF Michael Conforto did not start because of a little bit of a wrist issue thats been bothering him, Collins said. The Brewers announced that RHP Matt Garza would be activated from the disabled list and start Tuesday at San Francisco.
