Colorado Democrats denounce Trump remarks on judge

Petrocelli’s representation of Trump and donations to Clinton may not be that unusual, said Persily.

A Republican Congressman from Cincinnati penned an open letter to Donald Trump about the Trump University lawsuit telling him: “Settle the damn case, and apologize to the judge”.

Hewitt said the Republican Party “ought to get together and let the convention decide”. Democrats and some Republicans have been portraying Trump as sexist, pointing to clips of his unflattering comments about women. What I care about is to be treated fairly.

Hillary Clinton opened her general election campaign against Donald Trump on Wednesday by accusing him of behaving like a “demagogue”, likening his attacks on judges, the media, his opponents and their families to dark moments in world history.

Warren and Biden also criticized Senate Republicans, blaming them for their reluctance to hold hearings for federal judges – including Supreme Court nominee Merrick Garland – while at the same time distancing themselves from Trump for his comments about Curiel. He was born in Indiana, went to law school at Indiana University and is of Mexican ancestry.

“There are a lot of reasons not to vote for Trump, and also reasons not to vote for Clinton”, says first time voter Ethan Metzger. “We’re going to get killed”.

Rep. Mike Coffman, R-Colorado, who is facing a competitive race, has not endorsed Trump, and has said the presumptive nominee’s comments on Curiel were “inappropriate”. I’m not. Hitting upstate NY with yard signs is part of the campaign’s recipe for success in one of the nation’s most populous states. “He is a very good guy. I think that it’s even going to be more diverse than the Ronald Reagan coalition”. An aide said Ryan “discussed with his members the thinking behind his endorsement (of Trump) and how to move forward” and reiterated he had confidence Trump would support the House Republican agenda.

That leaves Republican and Democratic consultants alike projecting Trump would need about two out of three white votes nationally to tip the scales in enough battleground states – a level no national candidate has reached since Ronald Reagan’s 1984 re-election landslide. I’m a big boy. Bernie Sanders, the primary rival who Clinton recently vanquished to claim the party’s title as presumptive nominee. “I wouldn’t mind doing it on the Potomac”.

Both Clinton and Trump have work to do to unite their parties behind them but the Democrat appeared to face the easier path with Sanders, a leftist USA senator from Vermont, almost out of options to challenge her.

“But it would depend on the weather and stuff”, Trump added.

“I’d like to save it, give it the old fashioned way, right?”

In response, a succession of Republicans have denounced Trump’s remarks. Yes, Trump is engaging in a “textbook” example of racism.

Trump continued question Curiel’s impartiality due to the judge’s association with specific organizations.

“It’s all because of me”, Trump said in the interview.

“In all fairness, you know, it’s not my life”, Trump said about foreign policy and national security.
