Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump has denied accusations that he incited gun owners’ to kill his Democratic rival for the White House, Hillary Clinton.

“Words matter, my friends”, Clinton told the crowd.
“Words can have tremendous consequences”, Mrs Clinton said.
Trump and his campaign have said he was not talking about violence against his opponent, but only saying that Second Amendment supporters would unite to vote against her.
Hillary Clinton continued to attack Donald Trump over comments the Republican candidate made suggesting that his supporters should turn to violence to protect the Second Amendment. Trump’s campaign says that he was merely speaking about the political resolve of Second Amendment supporters.
The Second Amendment enshrines the right to bear arms in the US Constitution, and there is no evidence that Mrs Clinton wants to abolish it, although she does want to tighten some restrictions. “This is a strong powerful movement, the Second Amendment”.
Trump’s campaign called the controversy an example of media dishonesty, with the candidate himself saying the press was “desperate to distract” from Clinton’s stance on gun control.
Rather, a former anchor on CBS News, took to Facebook on Wednesday evening, only hours after the comments were made, and criticized Trump for reaching “a new low … in the history of American presidential politics”.
The U.S. Secret Service talked to the Trump campaign about his comments a few times. “At long last, Donald Trump has left the Republican Party few options but to act decisively and get this political train wreck off the tracks before something awful happens”.
Trump’s remarks came during a Tuesday appearance in Wilmington, as he spoke about the prospect of Clinton being able to appoint Supreme Court justices. “A person seeking to be the President of the United States should not suggest violence in any way”. “I just don’t believe that’s possible”, Sessions said. “By the way, if she gets to pick, if she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks”.
