The Rangers built a comfortable lead against struggling Rockies starter Kyle Kendrick (3-11). Bettis was placed on the 15-day DL on Sunday with right elbow inflammation but it seems to have improved. “It’s always concerning when there’s elbow inflammation with a pitcher”. But since the beginning of 2013, Harrison has undergone four surgeries, three on his back. Texas is 2-10 in their last 12 games, 1-6 against the NL West, and 0-7 in Harrison’s last seven road starts. Martinez is 5-5 with a 3.43 ERA in 16 starts in 2015. He has not recorded a win since beating Arizona on June 23, which is his only victory at Coors Field this season.
