Colts sign former K-State QB Josh Freeman to fill roster holes

“I can’t say anything, but if it is (my last game) I’ll talk to you on Tuesday”, Williams said. Kravitz says Grigson “not only dictated who would and would not play, but undermined Pagano when he wanted to discipline certain players”. There also have been instances when Pagano has been unable to discipline players for being late to meetings or other indiscretions.

LG G5: Major specs and features revealed, including “Magic Slot” for accessories
Featuring an 8MP front camera, the device will pack in a 2,800mAh battery, and also come with a fingerprint sensor on the back. First up, the secondary display from the LG V10 will be making its way to other phones in LG’s lineup, including the G5.

The Indianapolis Colts’ fortunes took a sharp turn for the worse this season, and it appears Chuck Pagano will pay the price for his team’s shortcomings. He’s been critical of GM Ryan Grigson and owner Jim Irsay in the past, and that likely, at least in part, contributed to his early departure.

Martinique joins list of regional countries with Zika virus infection
Because the mosquitoes that spread Zika virus are throughout the world, it is likely that outbreaks will spread to new countries. The Zika viral disease is characterized by fever, rash, arthralgia, headache, myalgia, asthenia and non-purulent conjunctivitis.

A short time after the story broke, the Colts released a statement from owner Jim Irsay: “As of today, no decision has been made with respect to any structural changes within the Colts organization for 2016 and beyond”.

David Moyes insists he WOULDN’T do anything differently if he managed
Van Gaal indicated he is continuing to plan to try and strengthen in the January transfer window. ” Van Gaal said that he has the board with him”.

Although Pagano’s been on the hot seat all season, he’s made it clear this week that he’d like to stick around in Indy.

“I will fight my a** off to be the coach here, ” he said.

The Colts will host potentially their final game of 2015, as the Tennessee Titans travel to Lucas Oil Stadium this Sunday. The die has been cast, though, since this summer, when Pagano turned down a one-year contract extension offer that he found insufficient and even insulting. Prior to joining the Colts, Pagano was the defensive coordinator for the Baltimore Ravens for one season and the secondary coach for the club for the three years before that. His record against the AFC South is 19-4, but 24-22 against everyone else.

But who’s to blame for a roster that hasn’t been able to stop the bleeding when games have threatened to get out of hand? Bill Polian was a point man at general manager/president during the transition. Receiver Andre Johnson and linebacker Trent Cole haven’t met expectations. His 994 yards leave him six yards short of the mark, and his 85 receptions already rank eighth in franchise history for a single season among all players. Backup Matt Hasselbeck is trying to come back from injured throwing shoulder, and third-stringer Charlie Whitehurst went on injured reserve Monday. Luck can go down as one of the best quarterbacks to ever play the game, but putting Kelly in the mix would limit his potential to run offensive plays that don’t fully work at the National Football League level like it does in college. He’s also dealt with neck, back, rib and jaw injuries.

Reality for the Colts in 2015 has them entering Week 17 of the season with three healthy quarterbacks: Josh Freeman, Ryan Lindley and Stephen Morris. Both Freeman and Lindley handled the majority of snaps in practice yesterday, and could be the primary contenders to start on Sunday.

The fact remains that the Colts front office “jumped the gun” on adding players to this roster that did not fit appropriately and therefore did not address the core needs of the team.
