‘Comeback Kid’ Bill Clinton hits the campaign trail in New Hampshire
Still, Bill Clinton said, Hillary practices an “inclusive” politics, telling the story of how, as first lady, she was excited to “find a human side” of then House Majority Leader Tom DeLay (R., Texas), a Clinton administration antagonist at the time: He was an adoptive parent.

It was a speech given against a backdrop of Donald Trump ratcheting up his attacks on Mrs Clinton, with the GOP front-runner accusing the former secretary of state of “creating” the Islamic State. He remembers meeting her 45 years ago: “I thought she was the most incredible person…” He said that everything she would touch she would make better.
“The Republicans will have to decide who they are nominating”, the former president said in New Hampshire when asked by MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell how he feels about the tone of Trump’s attacks against him. And Bill Clinton’s history of defending his wife suggests he will at least slug back.
“I think this election is about restoring broadly shared prosperity, rebuilding the middle class”, Clinton said. “I do not believe, in my lifetime, anybody has run for this job at a moment of greater importance, who was better qualified, by knowledge, experience and temperament, to do what needs to be done now”. “I think I’ll beat her very easily”.
And Hillary Clinton yesterday got heckled here in New Hampshire where she was campaigning.
And one of the things he’s giving right now is some frisson to wife Hillary’s torpid presidential campaign.
He spoke calmly and quietly in New Hampshire on Monday, methodically describing the issues he sees as motivating voters in the next election. “Here, you actually have to talk to people, look them in the eye and tell them what you want to do”.
In the same television interview, Mr Trump called in an advert for a temporary ban of Muslims from the U.S. due to recent Islamic extremist activity, and has also demanded that the Mexicans pay for a wall to block Muslims from the country.
The former president also touted Hillary’s work with former House Minority Whip Tom Delay (R-Texas) as an example of her ability to work with those with whom she disagrees.
As the state’s residents gear up to vote, Trump remains the frontrunner among Republican candidates, while polls project that Clinton is about four points behind her opponent, Bernie Sanders.

“They can be undone on Day One by a Republican president”, she said.
