Comedian Aziz Ansari gets his own Netflix series, ‘Master of None,’ premiering
After some tantalising backwards and forwards on when it would arrive, Netflix has confirmed that Marvel’s Jessica Jones is coming later this year.

At the TCA (Television Critics Association) press tour today, Netflix announced some of their upcoming premiere dates, including Longmire: Season 4 on Thursday, September 10th and the new Aziz Ansari comedy series Master of None on Friday, November 6th. That’s the beauty of the Marvel universe… Given the immediate success of “Marvel’s Daredevil” and the overall, sometimes stunning quality of that series, it’s a safe bet that fans can expect big things of Jessica Jones when she makes her Netflix debut. Right now, it seems more likely that Netflix will release Jessica Jones in December because they’ve already announced some November releases.
Netflix also has specific release plans for its other Marvel series, too, including Luke Cage and Iron Fist, along with a Defenders series that brings them together with Jessica Jones and Daredevil. How deep those similarities will run remains to be seen.
Also there appeared to be a quick glimpse of Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones in the sizzle reel. Following a short-lived career as the superhero Jewel, she eventually stepped away from the superheroics and became a private investigator.

The Marvel Netflix release schedule just got a little less uncertain. It’s unknown at this time if Jessica Jones will be renewed for a second season, like Daredevil, but Netflix CCO Ted Sarandos left the door open for a possible second season while speaking at TCA, according to IGN. Jessica Jones also stars Mike Colter as Luke Cage, David Tennant as Kilgrave, along with Rachael Taylor, Carrie-Anne Moss, Eka Darville, Erin Moriarty, and Wil Traval.
