The world lost an imaginative, loving legend this week when Gene Wilder, iconic film star and comedian, died at 83.

Jordan Walker-Pearlman spoke of the family’s ‘indescribable sadness’ but also their “spiritual gratitude for the life lived” by Wilder, one of the most gifted comic actors of all time.

He started taking acting classes at age 12 and continued studying through college. In total he has worked in over 30 big screen and television productions. “It’s kind of like losing a parent”, he said. “Particularly in the previous year or two, the restaurants we would go to, which sometimes would be more family restaurants than where he would take me back in the day, there would be children there”, said Walker-Pearlman. He is survived by his wife Karen Boyer, according to the International Movie Database.
