Commercial fishermen haul in 800-pound, 13-foot tiger shark
This past weekend, a fisherman named Joe Morris hauled in an enormously terrifying tiger shark off the coast of South Carolina. The man has already reeled in several big catches in the past year with this latest shark being his biggest so far.

Huff said the group dragged the shark to the beach where they got help loading the shark into the boat from a couple of willing tourists.
It was the third large shark the two had landed in three days.
The Post and Courier reported that at least 39 of the world’s 400-plus shark species are found off the South Carolina coast. That record goes to the 1,100-pound shark.
Earlier this year, another massive tiger shark was tagged by researchers off Hilton Head and tracked by the non-profit group Ocearch.

“Large tiger sharks are known to occur in South Carolina’s coastal waters, however they should be of little concern to beachgoers; humans aren’t on their menu”.
