Community Blood Drive To Take Place At City Hall
Help people affected by the Louisiana Floods by visiting redcross.org, calling 1-800-RED CROSS or texting the word LAFLOODS to 90999 to make a $10 donation. There is always a need for blood in the community and nationwide.

Sunday, September 11th NEWS CENTER and the Red Cross of ME will hold its annual ‘9/11 Roll Up Your Sleeve and Remember Blood Drive’. Each year tens of millions of Americans and people around the world observe the anniversary of 9/11 by performing good deeds that help people and communities in need. “Giving the gift of life to someone else is a way to continue the healing process in the face of tragic circumstances most Americans couldn’t imagine before that day”.
Wednesday, Sept. 7, 7 a.m.to noon – Bonneville Power at Van Mall, 7600 NE 41st St. The American Red Cross encouraged eligible donors to give blood to help ensure a readily available blood supply for emergencies.

9/21/2016: 9 a.m. – 2 p.m., Rock Falls Blood Donation Center, 112 W. 2nd St. A blood donor card or driver’s license or two other forms of identification are required at check-in. Donors can complete their pre-reading and donation questions online from the comfort and privacy of their home or office on the day of their appointment, reducing the time they spend at the blood drive by up to 15 minutes.
