A Pickerington teacher has been reinstated to her job after charges against her in the death of her husband were dropped. She said he fell off and was hit Sunday night. Sheriff’s deputies had said she ran over and killed 42-year-old Daniel Luke with her vehicle following a domestic dispute. “My dad hit my mom and he pushed her into a flower pot”.

The girl goes on to describe them trying to drive away, but says her dad wouldn’t let them go.
As the confrontation continued in the family driveway, the daughter could be heard saying, that her father was bleeding profusely from his head and was unconscious.
David Ball, spokesman for the Pickerington Local School District in suburban Columbus, says 40-year-old Angela Luke was reinstated Thursday.
Angela Luke, 40, pleaded not guilty on Monday to aggravated vehicular homicide and reckless homicide after authorities say she fatally struck Daniel Luke, 42, while driving away from their Lancaster, Ohio, home, Sunday night. My father’s dead! My father’s dead!
“My father’s dead!” the girl told the dispatcher. Please come help, hurry!’ Instead the woman told that her husband was abusive.
The sheriff’s office records clerk confirmed there are no prior sheriff’s report to the Lukes’ address. Although charges have been dropped, an investigation is continuing and prosecutors could seek a grand jury indictment later.
The district notified Luke Thursday morning she can return to work whenever she was ready, superintendent Valerie Browning-Thompson said. Marx’s office won’t discuss the investigation publicly, he said.
Lt. Tim Voris revealed that the mother, who is a second grade teacher, claimed Dan had been abusing her, so she was leaving the home they shared and taking their 8- and 12-year-old children with her. She said, “They’ve been fighting for a long time, but he’s never took it this far”.

“As her defense attorney, I welcome a thorough and thoughtful review of all of the facts in this case, as I am confident that the facts will fully exonerate Angela in the end”, Tyack’s statement read.
