Conan O’Brien Spoofed Apple’s Classic iPod Ads In The Best Way

But American funnyman Conan O’ Brien and the crew at his talk show have apparently seen the grim realities of owning wireless earphones.

In a bid to move consumers toward a more wireless world, Apple’s newest iPhone went on sale today minus a standard headphone jack.

Taking a page out of Apple’s marketing for the iPod, O’Brien had two silhouetted figures dancing while wearing AirPods, only to have the headphones continually fall out of their ears. However, the changes may post challenges to its loyal users in terms of the realities involved in using wireless headphones- its limits clearly including dancing.

About where to keep them, Cook said that the AirPods come with a little case and “magnetically they (AirPods) will magentically suck down in the case”.

The Airpod technology certainly holds promise of Apple’s ingenuity. However, decent wireless headphones now range from about $70 to $300, or even more.

Questioned on the burning issue during an appearance on Good Morning America this week, Apple CEO Tim Cook insisted that up to now, when trying out the AirPods, they’ve not once dropped out. If anything, the impressive demand for the iPhone 7 has proved that people are very interested in what Apple has to offer.

Simply put, the Airpods lack the traditional headphone jack. The product costs $159 plus tax, the parody closes with a tag line “Airpods: Wireless”. The tech giant is also rumored to be planning to announce an update to its Apple Watch wearable device.
