Concerts continue at Camden’s BB&T Pavilion after collapse
Up to 42 people were injured after a railing collapsed at a Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa concert Friday in southern New Jersey, Philly.com is reporting.

Dan Keashen, Camden County spokesman, said Saturday that 42 people suffered injuries. They were working to stabilize the railing where the collapse occurred and determine what repairs would be needed. It was announced today by Live Nation, the venue operators, that the broken gate railings have been “secured” and that an investigation is now underway to determine the exact cause of the railing collapse. Thirty-one people were taken to Camden’s three hospitals – Cooper University Hospital, Lourdes Medical Center and Virtua Camden – and another three to Kennedy University Hospital in Cherry Hill, he said.
In the posted videos, people are seen pushing against the railing that separates the lawn from the secondary stage where Snoop and Wiz were performing just before it gave way.
Authorities say that several people in attendance were injured when a partition fell at the concert.
“There will be a permanent railing installed later, but for the sake of public safety and security the temporary railing has to go up”.
The railing was at the bottom of a sloping grassed area of the 25,000 capacity venue, which is managed by promoter Live Nation.
BB&T management and representatives from Live Nation could not be reached for comment.

Authorities said there was another concert scheduled for tonight, but it is unclear at this time whether the show will happen. One person remained hospitalized on Saturday. The performers were ushered from the stage moments after the collapse, and the show was later canceled.
