Concussions Questioned After Plano Teen Kills Mom, Brother & Self

“He had just completely mentally dwindled away”, Fawcett told Dallas TV station WFAA, where Stacy Fawcett provided weekly segments on her favorite dishes and other food-related coverage. The 19-year-old was taken to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries after he repeatedly stabbed himself and later died. When authorities went inside the residence, they “discovered a deceased adult male and adult female along with another adult male who was alive with multiple stab wounds”. Channel 8 is WFAA, owned by Tegna Media.

A man called 911 to report the crime.

Plano police spokesperson Officer Tilley said, “Based on our investigation it appears that this individual had self-inflicted wounds, that he had given himself, and had also committed the murders of the other two individuals”.

“I’m in so much pain and need to grieve for my boys and Stacy right now”, said McCann Utu Sr., the dead boys’ father, in a statement to News 8.

The appeal reads: ‘We as a family are beside ourselves by the overwhelming love and support everyone has shown for Stacy, McCann and Josiah.

McCann’s uncle told KTVT that McCann’s mental state changed after the injury. Friends began noticing changes in his behavior after he was injured.

McCann Utu Jr (left), is suspected of murdering his mother and 17-year-old brother Josiah Utu (right), before stabbing himself several times on Friday.

McCann had recently posted disturbing messages online, including one in which he stated, “I prob will be the next to die after calvin #timeflies”.

Waseem Limbada, who called McCann Utu his “best friend”, said McCann had been “depressed” since being concussed in 2013.
