Confederate flag is removed in South Carolina
Now, the organizations that had imposed economic boycotts on South Carolina for flying the flag are reevaluating their stance on the state after its removal. The impetus for removing the flag follows the brutal killing of nine people attending church in Charleston last month. Haley signed the bill with 13 pens.
