The Darksiders remaster will release digitally and physically sometime towards the end of the year.

Unfortunately, we have yet to see anything about Darksiders 3, however, we are getting the original Darksiders again! The release is now scheduled for the fourth quarter of this year. Though they didn’t include PC in the list of platforms they have lined up for the remaster, it’s possible that they could make another announcement for the remaster at Gamescom 2016, which will be taking place in August.
Going in line with previous rumors, Nordic Games recently confirmed the remastered version of the original Darksiders for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Wii U.

Originally released back in January 2010, Darksiders allows gamers to take control of War, one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. Clearly unhappy with being slandered, War tells the Council he will find the people who forced him from his seal, leading him on a very bloody journey through a future, decimated Earth. The developer has confirmed that it’s working on a Darksiders remaster for the aforementioned consoles. As of now, we do not know what it is, but expect it to be something related to Miiverse.
