New Delhi, Speaking on the AAP- MCD blame game in the national capital over Chikungunya deaths, the Janata Dal (United) on Friday said that confusion persists in Delhi because Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has no powers to execute even normal functions.

The doctors have advised Kejriwal not to speak for a couple of days. He also urged the central government to immediately deploy doctors and paramedical staff of army and paramilitary forces at Delhi hospitals and dispensaries, and provide free check up and treatment facilities to people suffering from these diseases.
Congress activists on Friday observed “Bhagoda Divas” in the national capital, protesting against the alleged absence of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his ministers from Delhi which is now reeling under chikungunya and dengue outbreak. “The recovery for such a long-standing problem with its own functional accommodation will be gradual”. Previously, he had been to Jindal Nature Cure Institute, Tumkur Road, for 10- and 12-day periods to treat the cough, as also diabetes.
The operation was conducted at Narayana Health City, Bommasandra, Bengaluru.
Paul C Salins, Medical Director & Vice President – Mazumdar Shaw Medical Center, Narayana Health City, made the diagnosis initially on the basis of observing the pattern of his bouts of coughing, it said.
Sources said Kejriwal had a few sips of water after the surgery and spoke to his family. The last visit of Kejriwal has rejuvinated the party volnteers who were feeling disappointed due to certain developments including removal of Punjab convener Sucha Singh Chhotepur.

The cough, in part, was caused because of an enlarged tongue, which was corrected by “the repositioning of the tongue-base relationship along with the re-organisation of the chin area”, the hospital said in a press release.
