Congress workers name public toilet after Rishi Kapoor, he’s thrilled
Congress workers on Tuesday named a public toilet in Allahabad after Rishi Kapoor, apparently as a retort to the actor’s recent rant over the naming of many public institutions after Nehru-Gandhi family. A group of Congress workers gathered at Shivaji Park and placed a board displaying Kapoor’s name outside a Sulabh Shauchalaya toilet. The workers said that naming assets of the nation after the Gandhis was justified in view of their vast contribution to the nation. The supporters stated that both of the families have played a huge role in the struggle for freedom of the country. The 63-year-old Bollywood actor got a public toilet named after him in Allahabad.

Why Indira G airport worldwide? Mr Kapoor had tweeted seeking Rajeev Gandhi Bandra Worli Sea Link be named after Lata Mangeshkar or J.R.D. Kapoor, who hardly holds back when it comes to expressing his views, demanded the renaming of all national assets named after the Gandhis in a series of Tweets. Why not Mahatma Gandhi or Bhagat Singh Ambedkar or on my name Rishi Kapoor. “As superficial! What say?”
Aggrieved by Rishi Kapoor’s language made against the Nehru-Gandhi family.

He also claimed that the BJP government can not even tolerate the existence of the Congress headquarters on 24 Akbar Road, and therefore, they had proposed to change the name of the road. “I don’t agree. Sochna log!” said another tweet by Kapoor, whose scathing and often self-deprecating tweets have earned him over a million Twitter followers.
