Democrats want voters to show up in the general election and vote for whomever they have nominated.

Both Republican and Democratic parties will formally name their presidential candidates at conventions in July.

CBS2 did find women who are backing Clinton because of the experience she brings to the presidential table. Fully 84 percent of Democratic primary voters said they trust Sanders to deal with income inequality, compared with 49 percent who trusted Clinton.

Hillary responded, “Well, look, I think that she’s been saying that for as long as I’ve known her, which is about 25 years”.

While Clinton still holds a big lead among party insiders known as superdelegates, who can support the candidate of their choice, the first two contests made clear that Sanders has undermined her once dominant position as the favorite for her party’s nomination.

The tight race moves next to Nevada and SC, two states with large Latino and black populations. When Madeleine Albright and Gloria Steinem tried to shame and bully young women into supporting Hillary Clinton, they inadvertently revealed a dirty secret of the left’s fixation on gender, race and ethnicity.

Clinton’s team will also be rolling out the support of 119 black legislators in the March voting states.

Sanders is expected to talk at length about the civil rights activism of his youth, his recent outreach to prominent black figures and parts of his agenda that might most resonate with black and Hispanic communities. In South Carolina, three quarters of blacks are favorable, according to a survey NBC / Wall Street Journal dating back to late January.

“Sanders will have a tough time in the South because his brand of progressivism is not going to play well in conservative states”, West said. Sanders is the only senator in the progressive caucus.

There were 24 delegates to be allocated out of the New Hampshire Democratic primary, based on the vote statewide and by congressional district. “She’s got to make it through this wacky socialist guy Bernie”.

“Bernie feels like this exciting, feel-good candidate who’s promising free education – very appealing if you’re a young Millennial”, she said.

Indeed, a few Sanders supporters appear to be banking on that.

Remember all those complaints about the light Democratic debate schedule, with all the match-ups hidden on weekends and holidays?

“If he can, he’s turned what was once a hopeless cause into something that is just a little less hopeless”, he said.

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) said Thursday that a “huge gap” divorces Congress from the everyday Americans it represents. Many have graduated university only to be forced to return home and live with their parents in a country where most young people prefer to live independently after finishing high school.

“In Hillary Clinton, African Americans will have a nominee who knows key Black elected officials, clergy, fraternity and sorority leaders, educators, public intellectuals, athletes, artists, and activists”, the CBC PAC said in the post.
