“At 27 years of age, with every record in the book, with weight divisions above, ready for me to go at, super-fights left and right”.

Conor McGregor’s meteoric rise in the UFC is nearly unbelievable but it’s exactly what he’s been predicting all along.
McGregor is without question inspiring a new generation of Mixed Martial Arts Fighters to take up the sport, all aiming to follow in his footsteps. Jones insisted that if Ronda Rousey was granted an immediate rematch to Holly Holm despite a convincing loss at UFC 193, there is no reason White should not make a second installment of Aldo vs McGregor.
Conor McGregor’s win against the legendary Jose Aldo of Brazil, cemented the Irishman’s legacy in the UFC. “He’s a phenomenal champion”.
Jose Also has broken his silence after his brutal defeat at the hands of Conor McGregor. “I’d said I’d slip and bang the left hook”. “He kind of said, ‘Well, at this stage, it’s kind of up to you.’ …”
Being interviewed afterwards by UFC presenter Joe Rogan, Aldo was asked: “Jose, how much, if any, of the fight can you remember?” “He got me with a good shot and was able to finish the fight”.
The outcome was humiliating for the Brazilian after a lengthy buildup to the grudge match, and while he gave McGregor credit for his ability to land the fight-ending blow, Aldo said he wants a shot at redemption. “I think we have to move on now and now I am waiting for a rematch and God willing next time I will be back much better trained and recover what is mine”.
Coincidentally, Aldo also holds the record for the longest average fight time in UFC history, at 21 minutes, according to ESPN.
One fighter, in particular, mirroring those sentiments is former UFC light heavyweight champ Jon “Bones” Jones.
McGregor said he informed UFC bosses Lorenzo Fertitta and Dana White that he was “bringing in these big numbers”.
“I mean if you can see it here”, McGregor replied, pointing to his head, “and you have the courage enough to speak it, it will happen”.

It is possible that, when official figures come in, McGregor in fact earned more than four times the amount per second picked up by Rousey.
