Conor McGregor KO’s Jose Aldo in 13 Seconds
Still, with all the word war going on between the two prior to the fight, the mouthy Conor McGregor has his uttermost respect for his opponent. That is all said and done and now, the new fight is only hours away.

Conor McGregor went one for one on Saturday night.
There will be two title fights taking place tonight in UFC 194, and although Weidman vs Rockhold is an exciting fight, there’s no doubt that the eagerly awaited fight between Conor McGregor and Jose Aldo is the main event.
If McGregor wins against Aldo, Frankie Edgar is the next in line for a title shot after his win over Chad Mendes at The Ultimate Fighter 22 Finale yesterday.
UFC 194 concluded an unprecedented three-day stretch of three fight cards on the Las Vegas Strip.
The victory is McGregor’s seventh in the UFC and continues his undefeated streak since his debut in 2013.
It was the fastest finish in UFC title fight history, surpassing the 14-second submission by former women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey against Cat Zingano in February.
In his post-fight press conference, Ireland’s undisputed UFC featherweight champ admitted that he did feel slightly sorry for the Brazilian and the manner in which he lost the crown he held for a decade. “I tell you, he’s powerful and he’s fast, but precision beats power, and timing beats speed, and that’s what you saw out there”. He said, ‘I don’t want him making that weight again, it’s not good for him. “It’s been a long road and I appreciate that he showed up here and made the journey because I’ve no doubt that there were options to pull out like the last time but this time he stuck around”. “It was really not a fight, so we need to get back in there”. McGregor could also move up to lightweight to pursue a championship opportunity there. Typically the final main event fight begins around 11:30 pm EST unless the previous fights all end quickly. He deserved to go a little bit longer. “Now we are on to the next chapter”, McGregor added.
“It’s not the first time I’ve done that”. I can’t see his face or body sat the beginning of the second.

Since then, the 31-year-old won a rematch with Silva and defeated Lyoto Machida and Vitor Belfort, carrying a 13-0 record into the fight with Rockhold. The pair had to be separated after Aldo mimicked McGregor’s stare-down stance.
