The UFC brass has been pretty much silent on granting Jose Aldo an immediate rematch with Conor McGregor, but Jon Jones is questioning the promotion’s plans.
After beating Aldo, McGregor confirmed he is interested in the move.
McGregor would boast a first-round knockout against Aldo this weekend and would deliver on that claim easily.
Even if he (or indeed Dana White according to reports) were to ask Conor to vacate the 145lb. belt, Kavanagh says that such a suggestion wouldn’t register with the headstrong Irishman.
“I do enjoy the numbers”, he said.
McGregor had predicted he would beat Aldo in the first round in the build-up to the fight.
