LAS VEGAS (AP) – Conor McGregor is a featherweight champion fighting a lightweight at the welterweight limit at UFC 196.

The two have agreed to meet each other at welterweight – McGregor moving up two divisions after winning the featherweight title past year.

Diaz’s team, which includes his brother and fellow UFC star Nick Diaz, was restrained on one side of the stage inside the David Copperfield Theatre. Is Holly Holm more than a fight against Ronda Rousey?

“I hold the key to the fight game”.

“I’m open to discussions, come at me”, he told BT Sport when asked about the prospect of fighting Mayweather Jr. next.

“I mean dos Anjos is an absolute bum”, he continued.

“I like Robbie. I won’t say a bad word about Robbie”.

Diaz is also an imposing fighter in close-quartered exchanges as he can incorporate underhand tosses and trips while clipping thunderous knees to the body.

“I’m open to doing whatever [McGregor’s] considering”, White stated.

Things almost got out of control when McGregor slapped Diaz’s hand but security stepped in to throw water on the situation.

“Skill-wise I made a big, big jump from the (Chad) Mendes fight to Aldo”. “You don’t want to run into somebody else’s attributes. It would be nice to make that fight if the fans wanted to see it and obviously they would”.

“If he’s still conscious when he hits the mat, I will crush his hips and pass his guard and mount him and strangle him…like a boa constrictor wrapped around his long frame”. “She’s going to be much smarter in her next fight and how many fights she fights after that”.
