Tel Aviv Two people were killed and at least four were still buried alive last night after a vehicle park collapsed.

At least two people were killed, including one foreign worker from Ukraine.

“Everything fell down in one second”, he said.

Reservist Lieutenant Colonel, Sami Yehezkel, Commander of the national search and rescue unit of the Home Front Command who was present at the site Monday night, told Army Radio this morning that, “During the work we were aware of several places where the trapped workers were”.

About five to seven people are still trapped in the debris hours after the collapse, Israeli emergency services said.

The search for survivors continued Tuesday morning, with four construction workers still missing at the site of the collapse.

Mizrahi added that his team would remain on the ground “until the last trapped person is brought out from the rubble”.

Investigators have placed a gag order on details of a probe into what caused the collapse, but workers described shaking in the hours before it happened.

Listenberg said the disaster could have been more tragic.
