Conte: I don’t understand Costa criticism
Antonio Conte pointed to the impact of Michy Batshuayi and Cesc Fabregas as the duo helped inspire Chelsea to a comeback win over Watford.

Not that he had anything to prove; the three-time Serie A victor as Juventus manager has won 28 and drawn two of his last 31 league games, the most recent Monday’s late 2-1 win over West Ham as he made his Chelsea bow. “They showed great attitude and commitment with Cesc Fabregas and Michy Batshuayi making a real impact”, Conte told the BBC. I feel good because I saw the right commitment, the right spirit from my team.
Conte said: “I don’t understand that other players or managers or press all say bad (things) about him”.
‘At the end of the game it is also important for example when we played 4-2-4 and I had to shout for the wingers to stay very wide, which isn’t easy.
– Since returning to the Premier League, Cesc Fabregas has more assists than any other player (26).
Hazard insists that the results are no fluke and that Chelsea have been deserving winners in their opening competitive fixtures, attributing their success to how the players have been applying themselves under former Italy boss Conte.
Etienne Capoue had given the Hornets a second-half lead before Batshuayi and Costa both struck in the final 10 minutes to extend Antonio Conte’s 100% start to the season.
The defeat means Walter Mazzarri is without a win since taking charge, following on from last weekend’s 1-1 draw at Southampton.
“We know that this market is very hard”.
“We can hold our heads high”, Mazzarri said. We played very well. So, tonight, I’m not going to sleep very well. The Blues looked vastly improved under the fiery Italian manager compared to virtually any performance of theirs a season ago, and fans are now hoping that they could see that improvement continue and grow into a special season.

Most of this we’ve heard before but it’s that first sentence that’s key.
