Contrite Rose apologises over Chelsea-Spurs scuffle
Gary Cahill admitted he was frustrated after seeing Chelsea produce their best display of the season in the second half against Tottenham.

Asked whether this Spurs squad are ready for the Champions League, the 24-year-old said: ‘One hundred per cent. “I apologise if it looked bad on TV”, Rose said, in comments published in the British media on Tuesday.
“We’ve just got to keep doing what we’re doing, we’ve got a great bunch of lads, a great manager, great staff and we’ve just got to keep that and keep moving forward”. Luckily we turned it around and were able to play an even game. It’s only the beginning of our journey. They have come a way thinking celebrating, so we have come a long way. That’s 100 percent certain.
“We’re very disappointed”, he added. “We are there to fight for the league for many years to come”. To be 2-0 up and to let them get back into the game at 2-2 makes it worse, then obviously Leicester being champions.
“At 2-0 up in the first half, in the second half we have to counter and score the third but this happens”.
Eriksen is among the few Tottenham players with experience in Europe’s elite competition following his time with Ajax. Everyone has been very courageous for 90 minutes but we’ve conceded from a set piece which made things nervy for us, which was disappointing.
“They were showing too much emotion, even the manager on the sidelines at times”.
Tottenham and Chelsea could both face retrospective action from the Football Association, with Spurs midfielder Mousa Dembele particularly at risk after appearing to gouge Chelsea striker Diego Costa’s left eye.
Dier himself was fortunate to escape a sending off after a reckless lunge on Fabregas while he was already on a booking and Spurs finished the match with a Premier League record nine yellow cards. But we are proud of each other. We’re a young team. “I think we have changed people’s minds”.

“First of all I congratulate Leicester and Claudio Ranieri and his players and supporters”, he said. Credit to Leicester, it’s unbelievable what they have achieved.
