Coolpad to invest Rs.300 million for phone manufacturing
It is clocked at 1.3GHz Octa-Core 64-bit MediaTek MT6753 processor with Mali-T720 MP2 GPU clubbed with 3GB RAM under the hood. The phone will be sold on Amazon India starting October 20 and will be sold in a flash sale format, which was pioneered by Chinese upstart Xiaomi.

Coolpad Note 3 “Just Touch” smartphone was launched today in India priced of Rs 8,999.
The smartphone hosts a 5.5-inch HD screen that gives 720×1280 pixel resolution.
Making its entry into the market, the Coolpad Note 3 will be competing against the likes of Sony Xperia E4, Meizu M2 Note, Yu Yureka Plus, Lenovo K3 Note, Samsung Galaxy Grand Max and others.
The phone comes with a decent 13-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, f/2.0 aperture, HD Lens apart from a 5-megapixel front cam. Both front and rear camera have CMOS image sensor for enhanced image quality.
Coolpad is also outing the UI features like double tap wake up, multi-window mode and smart gesture. the Coolpad Note 3 is probably the only Android 5.1 Lollipop smartphone to feature 3GB of RAM and a fingerprint sensor under Rs. 10,000. The phone will carry a 3000mAh battery and will come in black and white colours. This phone will support 13 Indian languages.
Its connectivity options include 2G, 3G, 4G/ LTE, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, WLAN, Bluetooth 4.0, and micro USB.
The company also said it will partner with Videocon to manufacture smartphones in the country and will roll out almost half a million devices from its facility in Maharashtra. Coolpad also announced that they will be investing of over $300 million in India on Manufacturing, R&D and ID design of its smartphones.

“The first Made-in-India Coolpad phone will be available in the first quarter of 2016”, Coolpad vice president Johnson Luo said.
