On Thursday morning, police arrested a man who was attempting to break into a auto on West Brookline Street.

Officers at the District D-4 station received a call that a man was breaking into a motor vehicle.
The substances were packaged and shipped to the State Lab. As a precaution, four officers were taken to Boston Medical Center.
McGuire said the condition of the officers is “unknown”.
They were later released and are expected to be o.k., police said. “He was at the bottom of my stairs and after an hour, they ended up taking him away”.
The suspect was arrested, although the exact charge or charges were unavailable this morning, McGuire said.
