Police officers in Flatbush found one weapon in the unlikeliest of places – a Bible.

The cops later posted photos of the contraption, which says it “contains both the Old & New Testaments”, on the 70th precinct’s official Twitter account.
Cops say they first approached a auto and smelled marijuana before finding a knife, marijuana, and the Bible inside the vehicle. They also say they found an open alcohol container and a knife.
Officers in Brooklyn found the handgun and ammunition hidden amongst the leather-bound holy book during a vehicle stop on Monday.
Andre Allen, 32; Satina Ferguson, 21; and DeShawn Thompson, 24, were arrested; the Daily News reports they were charged with two counts of weapons possession and unlawful possession of marijuana.

“The dangers our officers encounter, ” Tweeted NYPD Deputy Inspector Richard G. DiBlasio. But instead of the word of God, it contained a loaded Glock 17, 10 bullets and a magazine.
