A man, 54; man, 27; woman, 48; woman, 45, were all found to be suffering from gunshot wounds and were pronounced dead at the scene.
The 54-year-old father allegedly shot his son’s bedridden mother, girlfriend and friend, the Los Angeles Times reported.
According to the county sheriff’s department, the man got into an argument with his son’s girlfriend over using the washing machine. As the discussion got more heated, he pulled out a semi-automatic pistol and opened fire, officials said. He was booked and held in lieu of $1 million bail.
Morey was arrested for the murder of his father. ‘She was in a hospital bed there in the middle of the living room’.
Their names have also not been released by authorities – coroner’s officials said Friday that they were still trying to identify the victims and notify their relatives.
“Mixing alcohol and guns never ends good”, Wilfred Calzadilla said.
The man’s son, 33, then wrestled his father to the ground and took the gun away before shooting him once, killing him, according to the Sheriff’s Department.
A GoFundMe page for Calzadilla has been started by his family with hopes of raising $20,000 for his funeral and to start a savings account for his daughter.
