Products labeled as “organic” are not affected by the recall. It’s possible that some residue got into the pouches, he said, but the company has not found any evidence of this so far.

But the recall does not include or impact GoGo squeeZ Organic products or the newly launched GoGo squeeZ YogurtZ.
A popular applesauce called GoGo Squeeze is being voluntarily recalled. “At GoGo squeeZ, our team takes food safety matters very seriously, so in an abundance of caution, we are recalling products”.
These so-called bad pouches have best before dates of between December 4 of 2015 and March 4 of 2017.
GoGo squeeZ also recalled its applesauce in October after mold was found on the packets.
“We understand you may be losing patience with us”, Larroche said.
This inspection was performed by the Michigan State Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (MDARD) at a production facility in Traverse City, MI.

The move comes following the discovery of food product residue in two product pumps during a plant inspection.
