Corbyn right to lead party
“And they have changed since I first entered Parliament in 1983…”

Speaking at the launch of his campaign to hold onto the leadership, Mr Corbyn had a laugh at Pontypridd MP Mr Smith’s expense.
The two candidates will now spend the summer on the campaign trail trying to win over Party members.
Jeremy Corbyn has warned all Labour MPs that they will face reselection before the 2020 general election, a move which could see the ousting of many of his opponents in the parliamentary party.
Jeremy Corbyn lacks the credibility and practical approach needed to be Prime Minister, Labour MP and chair of Christians of the Left Jonathan Reynolds told Christian Today.
“So there will be a full and open selection process for every constituency Labour Party through the whole of the United Kingdom”.
“We have seen intolerance in the party, abuse in the Labour party that we have never seen before”.
“I think he has contributed to this”.
Conor McGinn, MP for St Helens North, said Mr Corbyn disapproved of comments made in an interview with PoliticsHome.
In its latest party member polls released yesterday, YouGov reported that at present Corbyn had more than 54% of Labour public support (more than Owen and Eagles combined).
But in refusing to resign, Corbyn has cited strong support among grassroots members.
However, with campaign group Saving Labour amassing growing support, the race is now on between Corbyn and his left-wing and union fans and those – like many young supporters – who believe he failed Labour over Brexit.
Corbyn insisted he could bring Labour back together after the revolt against him at Westminster and lead it into government, claiming “this party is going places” and was “capable of winning a general election”.
Mr Smith, the former shadow Work and Pensions Secretary, and only challenger to Corbyn is very concerned about the future of the party which is “teetering on the brink of extinction” and could even disappear form the political landscape if it splits after the leadership contest.
“Of course he’s very welcome to come back and I hope he would”.
Mr Corbyn will use the leadership contest to set out how a Labour government will tackle the “five ills” of 21st century Britain – inequality, neglect, insecurity, prejudice and discrimination.

“Just had a phone call from a volunteer at Labour Party asking why I haven’t paid £25 to register as a registered supporter”.
